Four of us had a guided tour with Nejc for two weeks mountain biking in Slovenia.  Our every need was met with professionalism.  Nejc was knowledgable, considerate, prompt and fun.  The bike riding was carefully chosen for our abilities.  The hotel accommodations he chose for us were perfect.  We were taken on several tours (wine, cheese and organic gardening) that were interesting and gave us a chance to interact with locals.  You won't be disappointed with this trip.

What a fabulous time I had!! One of my highlights of my 2 month trip!! Nejc explained the bike very thoroughly so I felt very comfortable. Being from the Netherlands I grew up on a bike but have limited experience with mountain biking. The biking trail was absolutely stunning. Afterwards we went and had a late lunch at a local spot....great food for a great price. This biking trip is highly recommended!!

Guided Slovenia Bike Tour

We wanted to acknowledge Hour Away and our host, Nejc, for a fantastic bike tour in Slovenia.  We spent 5 days in mid September/24 touring with Nejc on mountain e-bikes.  We appreciated the philosophy, flexibility and details Nejc provided from the beginning to the end of the trip, especially how he sources local and sustainable aspects of travel.  These included excellent e-bikes, top notch transportation, reliability, fantastic accommodation and intelligent and thought provoking conversation.  Through Nejc, we learned so much about so many facets of Slovenia; geography, geology, agriculture, education, culture and history. Amazing all that can happen while you mountain bike your way through the stunning country of Slovenia!
